Polaris Astrology Star Classification

In Polaris Astrology, there are two types of classifications: modern and traditional. Which one you use is not important. What is important is to understand the characteristics of the stars and their combinations with other stars in different palaces. This website mainly uses the traditional classification.

🍐 Traditional Classification

In traditional classification, stars are divided into 6 types.

🍐 Modern classification

Modern classification divides stars into five classes, from class H1 (the most significant) to class H5 (the least significant). The letter "H" stands for Heaven Stem. Star classes are named after the first five Heaven Stems, similar to the English letters from A to E.

🍊 H1 Stars 甲級星

H1 stars are the most significant stars, especially the 14 main stars and the 4 converted stars.

🍊 H2 Stars 乙級星

*Note: Stars that are highlighted are significant stars. Stars that are not highlighted have very little influence and are not used by most Polaris astrologers.

🍊 H3 Stars 丙級星

H3 Stars and below have very little influence and are not used by most Polaris astrologers.

🍊 H4 Stars 丁級星

Stars highlighted in yellow are the auspicious stars of the 12 Annual Deities. Stars that are highlighted in blue are the auspicious stars of the 12 General Deities.

🍊 H5 Stars 戊級星

H5 Stars are Annual Challenge Stars, have very little influence, and are not used by most Polaris astrologers.
