There are 12 palaces on the life chart. Each of the palaces represents certain aspects of a person's life.

↪️ 12 Palaces Sequence and Number

The 12 palaces follow a specific sequence and rotate counterclockwise on the Life Chart. The sequence is the same for everyone. Each palace is represented by a number, beginning with 1 (the Life Palace) and ending with 12 (the Parent Palace). The Life Palace can begin anywhere on the chart, depending on the person's lunar birth month and time of birth.

🌻 1. Life Palace

The Life Palace is the most important of the 12 palaces. It represents "the self" on the Life Chart. It represents you, your innate abilities, personality, and behavior.

The Sibling Palace represents the personality and behavior of your mother and/or eldest brother and your relationships with them.

🌻 3. Spouse Palace

The Spouse Palace represents the personality, behavior, and appearance of your partner, and your relationship with the partner. It also predicts whether you are going to have an early marriage, late marriage, never marry, or at risk of divorce.

In general, the Child Palace symbolizes your children. Specifically, the eldest son. It also represents the personalities and behaviors of your children and your relationship with them. It also represents your talents and sexual activities. If you are remarried, it represents the personality of your second spouse

The Wealth Palace represents your attitude towards money, how you earn and spend your money, and what kind of professions are suitable for you.

The Health Palace represents your health and your body. Are you slim or chubby? What kind of health issues are you at risk of? It also represents your inner personality and feelings.

The Journey Palace, also known as the Exterior Palace represents how you present and express yourself to others, and how others perceive you.  It also represents your behavior, fortunes, and encounters, when you are away from home, such as when you are traveling, going on trips, going to school abroad, working in a foreign country, or just doing outdoor activities.

The Friend Palace represents the relationship between you and your friends,  your peers, and everyone else. What kind of friends do you have? The Friend Palace was formerly called the "Subordinate Palace" Today, most people just call it the "Friend Palace."

The Career Palace, also called the Activity Palace, represents your daily activities. The types of activities you are involved in, such as school and work activities. How well you perform at school or work.

The Home Palace represents your childhood home, living conditions, environment, and the type of home you like. In addition, it indicates whether you will own or rent your home. It also represents your saving habits. Do you have the habit of saving money?

The Fortune Palace represents your mentality, such as your interests and hobbies. How do you spend your money and enjoy your time?

In general, the Parent Palace represents the personality and behavior of your father and your relationship with him. The mother is represented by the Sibling Palace.

🌷13. Latter Palace

The Latter Palace is the 13th palace. It is called the "Body Palace." in Chinese. However, the Health Palace represents a person's body, and the Body Palace has nothing to do with the body. To avoid confusion, this website refers to the Body Palace as the Latter Palace. The Life Palace represents the first half of a person's life, usually from birth to age 35. The Latter Palace represents the second half of a person's life, beginning at age 36 and continuing until the end of life. When reading a Life Chart, the Life Palace should be considered, regardless of age, even if the person is over 35 years old. The Life Palace is the most important palace. Many Polaris Astrologers ignore the Latter Palace.

🌷The Relationship Between the Latter Palace and Other Palaces

Since there are only 12 palaces in a person's Life Chart, the location of the Latter Palace is shared with one of the 12 palaces. Because of the way the Latter Palace is formulated, the location of the Latter Palace can only be shared with the following six palaces:

Whichever palace the Latter Palace is shared with, it is where one's energy is mostly focused.*

• 🌷 Latter Palace shared with the Life Palace: This indicates that you are constantly focusing your energy on yourself, have great fortitude, and are emotionally strong. However, it can sometimes mean that you are stubborn.
• 🌷 Latter shared with the Career: Your career is everything. Your career is everything. You are constantly striving to improve and excel in what you do.
• 🌷 Latter Palace shared with the Wealth Palace:  For you, nothing is more important than making money. You are very economical and never waste money.
• 🌷 Latter Palace shared with the Journey Palace: You love to travel and don't like to stay in one place for long. Your working environment is always changing.
• 🌷 Latter Palace shared with the Spouse: Your energy is constantly focused on spousal matters and family life. Additionally, you may be emotionally sensitive.
• 🌷 Latter Palace shared with the Fortune: You are constantly pursuing your hobbies and interests. You might feel emotionally distressed if your job is not aligned with your area of interest.

*Note: When reading the Polaris Astrology Life Chart, the Latter Palace is usually ignored by most astrologers. The significance of the Latter Palace is difficult to prove.
